Fundraising begins -- Goal for this year is $3500!
Budgeting for about $5 for each goodie bag, and donating a scholarship to KCC, as well as items from the "Wish Lists" at Hope Lodge and at the Crisis Nursery. These locations are so appreciative of the contributions that have been made and it has been a very rewarding aspect of Carly's project!
This year Carly is also selling Wristbands for $2 that say
"Make Every Day Valentine's Day"
January 19 -Send her a note if you would like to buy any!
February 10 -Carly's Daisy Girl Scout Troop met at our house. They assembled 22 goodie bags for the kids at the Crisis Nursery.
All 8 locations are confirmed for "Carly Valentine" deliveries this year - 420 goodie bags total!!The first grade teachers at Carly's school are very excited to organize 118 students (5 classes) to help with Carly's project. They'll gathered in the cafeteria and assemble 236 goodie bags for the residents at the Golden Living Center, Freedom Pointe, River Oaks and Community Living.
